Suila（水啦）("the App") is a free video editor developed in Taiwan by an independent developer ("the Developer"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.
In short: Suila collects nothing. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. Suila has no servers and never uploads your videos, audio, or edits.
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There is no account system, no login, and no user registration. The Developer has no servers that receive your data.
With your permission, the App imports videos and music that you select so you can edit them. All media and project files are stored locally on your device; the App uploads nothing. Exported videos are saved back to your photo library only when you choose to export, and only with your permission.
Suila itself uses no cloud services and has no servers. However, because your projects are saved in the App's folder on your device, they may be included in your own device backups — iCloud Backup, or a Mac/PC backup — if you have those turned on, exactly like the files of any other app. Videos you import remain in your Photos library, which may sync through iCloud Photos if you have enabled it. These are Apple features under your control; the Developer neither manages them nor has access to them.
The automatic caption feature transcribes the audio of the videos you are editing. On iOS 26, this transcription runs entirely on your device using Apple's on-device speech framework. Your audio is not sent to the Developer or to any third party.
The App contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party tracking. The App does not use Apple's Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt.
The App is completely free and contains no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.
The App does not integrate any third-party advertising, analytics, or data-collection services. Standard Apple frameworks (such as Photos and on-device Speech) are used solely to provide the App's features and do not transmit your data to the Developer.
The App is not directed at children under 13. Because the App collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect information from children.
All media, projects, and settings are stored locally on your device. The Developer has no access to this data. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.
